This past Christmas, we embraced the sun-kissed shores of Bali, spending five delightful days in Nusa Dua. Our home away from home was the stunning Taman Dharmawangsa Suites, a newly opened resort that exceeded all our expectations. It was an extra special trip because we were joined by my kids' favorite ninong (Godfather), Jansene.

The Villa Experience
The moment we stepped into our villa, we were mesmerized by its sophisticated design. Each villa seamlessly blends modern amenities with traditional Balinese architecture, creating an atmosphere of serene luxury. The outdoor bath, complete with a bathtub, was a highlight. Bathing under the open sky, surrounded by lush greenery, was an incredibly rejuvenating experience we savored daily.

One of the standout features was the floating breakfast. Served in the pool, it was filled with great food and provided the perfect start to the day during our morning swim.

Dining Delights at MADAWA Restaurant
Within the resort, there's MADAWA Restaurant, an elegant dining spot with a floor-to-ceiling sunroom made of glass. Its modern Balinese design and serene ambiance made it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The food was exquisite, and the setting added a unique charm to our dining experience.

Beach Club Adventures
Our days in Bali were filled with visits to some of the island’s most popular beach clubs. For the first time, we visited Canna Bali, a new beach club that instantly won us over with its vibrant yet laid-back vibe and breathtaking ocean views. We also reserved a spot at their restaurant, Cliff, which served delicious food and added a unique dining experience to our trip.

We had a fantastic time at Palmilla Beach Club as well. Known for its excellent swimming areas and delectable food, Palmilla offered the perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence. Although it was a bit crowded, it still made for an enjoyable part of our trip.

We had a wonderful evening at White Rock Beach Club. This was unplanned; we were at Palmilla and looking for a place to have dinner when we found White Rock Beach Club just beside it. We enjoyed a sumptuous dinner while watching the sunset, accompanied by soothing music. It was the perfect way to cap off a day of beachside fun and exploration.

While we enjoyed exploring, we mostly stayed at our villa, ordering GrabFood from local restaurants. Each meal was a treat, offering a delicious taste of Bali's diverse culinary offerings. On some nights, we indulged in soothing massages, which added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay.
Five days in Bali always feel too short, but each visit reminds us why it holds such a special place in our hearts. The island's calm and peaceful atmosphere is hard to find elsewhere. The combination of its beautiful landscapes, warm hospitality, and rich culture makes every trip unique. Best of all, the kids enjoyed every moment, making it a truly memorable family getaway.
