Apologies for the over-saturation in these photos – it was a time when digital cameras were still finding their footing, and my color judgment wasn't quite refined. Nevertheless, I couldn't resist sharing the magic of Cambodia and the unforgettable experience of visiting Angkor Wat in the morning.

The early morning visit had a sense of serenity to it. The air was cool, and the crowds were still thin, allowing for a more intimate connection with this historical wonder. The first rays of light painted intricate patterns on the stone walls, and the reflections in the lotus-filled moat were simply breathtaking.

Exploring the temple's intricate bas-reliefs and hidden corners felt like stepping back in time. The stories depicted on the walls came to life as the sun's rays danced upon them, revealing the incredible craftsmanship of the artisans who carved them centuries ago.

One of the most unforgettable moments was climbing to the top of the central tower and witnessing the sunrise from this vantage point. The quietude of the early morning allowed for introspection and a deeper appreciation of the temple's historical and cultural significance.

Despite the over-saturation in my photos, I hope they convey even a fraction of the awe-inspiring beauty that is Angkor Wat in the morning. It's a destination that remains etched in my memory, reminding me of the incredible places our world has to offer and the importance of cherishing them.
