A Day Trip from Florence to the Leaning Tower of Pisa

While staying in Florence, we eagerly planned an adventure to the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Just a short train ride away, the prospect of witnessing this architectural wonder up close filled me with anticipation. Although the main reason for its distinctive tilt was a weak architectural foundation.

The Leaning Tower was just a short walk from the train station. Walking through the historic streets of Pisa, we marveled at the quaint charm of the town. While some brave souls ascend the Leaning Tower, I opted to skip it due to my paranoia. However, I can imagine that the view from the top must be breathtaking.

Like many tourists, I couldn't resist the urge to take some fun perspective photos, seemingly propping up the tower with my hands or pretending to push it over.

The Leaning Tower is part of the Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), which also includes the stunning Pisa Cathedral and Baptistery. I explored each of these magnificent structures, admiring their intricate architecture and rich history. Please excuse my tired face below. Lol.
