Edge of Self

A Dialogue in Paint · September 2026

INSTINC GALLERY

Edge of Self was a duo exhibition by Filadelfa Rodriguez and Jansene Alegre, exploring the shifting boundaries of identity, perception, and becoming. Through a collection of works, the exhibition invited us to look beyond the selves we know, question the boundaries we inherit, and consider the possibilities that emerge when we stand at the edge of who we are.

The exhibition opened on 23 September 2026 at INSTINC Gallery, 39 Keppel Road, welcoming guests from the interior design and architecture industries, fellow artists, and members of the media community. The opening reception was met with a warmth that exceeded our expectations. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, engaged with our works, shared conversations, and took the time to step into our world.

Running until 27 September 2026, Edge of Self became more than a showcase of artworks; it was an opportunity to bring different perspectives together, create meaningful connections, and share the many ways we understand and experience the self. To everyone who was part of this chapter, thank you for making it so meaningful.
